B&B Music World provides private music lessons in Dc, MD and VA.

“My cello lessons with B&B Music World have been really fun. I have had 2 teachers who were different from others I had with another service. When I needed to move to DC, it was easy to do because B&B had another cello teacher to work with.  Chang is a great cello teacher!”-Brittey

“When I was looking for a guitar teacher in Baltimore, there were several options but B&B was the first to get back to me. Some places never even returned my call! They are very interested in giving the best service. And I love my new guitar teacher too!”

–Rachel B.

“My kids love the recitals at BnB. They do them twice a year and it really seems to keep my kids motivated. I never have to ask them to practice the piano anymore. Our teacher, Jeff, is very talented and so good with kids. I want my kids to have lessons for at least 6 years. B&B has been in business in Virginia for over 5 years so I know I am in good hands.”

“My children were not sure if they wanted music lessons but when we started with B&B, we all knew it was the right match. They are professional in every way, and made it very easy for us to begin music lessons. We have guitar, piano AND ukulele lessons with B&B.  We were able to get started 4 days after we called!”

My boys had so much fun with the new guitar teacher. Thanks for making the switch so quickly after Sarah left. We will miss her but I think the kids had more fun with David. They asked if they could have group lessons next week. Is that okay?

My son has piano lessons with Hannah once a week at our house. Her attention to detail is interesting to watch especially as she makes it so much fun for him. You really need a lot of patience when working with children and she definitely has what it takes. He enjoys taking piano lessons with her, and I’m very impressed with the way she teaches shows him how to play the piano. He finally practices on his own at home now, and I enjoy hearing his progress. Hannah is a great teacher and I would suggest your service to anyone. Keep up the great work!

Best, Perrie

Hannah has been a wonderful piano teacher for my 9 year old daughter. My daughter has a learning disability with dyslexia and she is ADD Inattentive. My daughter was frustrated with her previous piano teacher but has loved learning with Hannah because she makes it so much fun for Julia and works at a speed that makes Julia feel good about herself. She is quick to adjust to Julia’s learning style. It has been a great experience for my daughter.

Thanks, Brenda

My two boys, ages 6 and 8, have been taking guitar lessons for a couple of months with Soric. Their young ages make it very challenging to even be able to hold down the strings correctly, yet alone play chords. Soric has risen to the challenge, however, and has taught the boys a lot in the short amount of time that he’s been teaching them. He has a great way with them, and is very patient when their attention spans get short. My husband and I are very pleased with the education B and B is providing to them.

My son Ronny is 12 years old and this year he has developed a strong interest in music. He begged his father and I for an electric guitar and we finally got him one Christmas 2008. In Feb 2009 Ronny started taking lessons with B&B and within one month he was actually playing very well. I was completely astonished! Your teacher has all of the traits of a great guitar teacher, he is patient, organized and has well designed lessons that has kept my 12 year old with ADD interested and excited in music. I believe that his new found talent has helped him with his concentration in school.

Thanks!

Dear Parent,

I want to let you know how satisfied I am with the high quality of the lessons that my 13-year-old son is receiving from Chris. I wanted my son’s instructor to be an experienced professional musician, with the patience to teach others, even young children. Chris is such a person. I highly recommend Chris for anyone who seriously wants to learn guitar. Feel free to call me, if you need to ask a question.

Sincerely, Ralph P.

My 9 year old daughter has said for a couple of years now that she wanted an acoustic guitar. I finally bought her one for Christmas 2008. I bought one at Jerry’s Music in Bethesda. My daughter started taking lessons from Chris. I purchased a black and white Fender Squire Mini guitar. The mini guitar fit my daughter’s little hands so much better. Once she received the Fender Mini it made all the difference. She can actually hear what the chords are supposed to sound like. Chris is a great guitar teacher. My daughter has ADD and goes a mile a minute. Chris is patient and has well designed lessons that keep my daughter’s attention focused for the full private lesson. My daughter is so proud of herself. Her confidence continues to grow with the guitar. I highly recommend Chris for anyone, younger or older, who seriously wants to learn guitar.

I am writing to tell you about B&B Music and the piano teacher they provided, Kimberly. Kimberly’s abilities as a piano teacher are superior. Not only is she a very talented pianist, creative and knowledgeable, but she is also an excellent influence on her students. She teaches my 9-year old granddaughter and I am usually present during her lessons.

Kimberly has engaged this young student from the very beginning piano skills to playing comfortably with both hands, including a solid knowledge and use of chords. My grand-daughter is a very enthusiastic student and often wants instant success. Kimberly is gentle and firm with her so as not to break her spirit, but also realizes a student’s need to play an active role in her music education. Thanks BnB!

We are writing to express our opinion of B&BMusic World and their music teachers.  Their teacher taught our daughter Catrina who is fourteen and has been playing the piano for eight years. Ms. Hong has been a wonderful teacher who has really helped our daughter increase her note-reading skills, her improvisation skills, and her exposure to a wide variety of beautiful music. Ms. Hong has helped Catrina to enjoy music so much more and to look forward to practicing and performing.  We have recently asked Ms. Hong to teach three of our other children, ages six, nine, and eleven, because we were so impressed with her teaching ability with our daughter Catrina. She has geared each lesson to cater to the ages and abilities of our children with patience and care.  Music is very important to our family, and we would highly recommend B&B Music for their piano and music teachers.

Sincerely,

Meredith and Bill

My name is Kelly. My children, Jake and Annabelle, have been taking piano lessons from B&b Music World. Our experience with Pamela has been extremely positive. She has shown incredible patience with my children (both of whom have fine motor delays) and taught them to play the piano. They now know how to read music, play chords on the piano, and play tunes. I would recommend Pamela to anyone who has a desire to play the piano–from the serious to those looking to take up something new as adults. My children like her alot.

Pamela uses flash cards to teach and has even made a children’s book of simple piano arrangements.  She is intelligent, multi-talented, sensitive and cultured person. I hope you’ll consider her for a piano instructer.

Sincerely,

Kelly

I really like the “fake” style of leaning the guitar, which enables me to play songs (not just notes or scales) quickly. Jeff also focuses on my desire to play the blues by teaching me blues scales and how to improvise. I enjoy my lessons and have come a long way in a short period of time. Guitar lessons at my home are a great way to learn since I don’t have to worry about being late to the lesson.  I would highly recommend Jeff and B&B to anyone, beginner to advanced, young or old, who is interested in learning or improving how to play the guitar.

Sincerely, Thomas

I have been playing violin for a number of years, either on my own or with an instructor. In the time I have been with B&B, I feel that my playing has improved substantially and people who have heard me play for many years have remarked upon my improvement since switching to B&B’s private violin teacher, Janette. Janette is a great violin teacher and she finds creative ways to keep me engaged with the music lessons.

Sincerely, Clara

“I have had a great experience with B&B Music World. They were so helpful in answering my questions and in finding my teacher for me. I can’t say enough about their friendliness and efficiency. The seem to be the best lesson service in the DC area!”
